HIV Testing

R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center also offers HIV testing either as part of the medical package or personal request. Either way, patients can be assured of the confidentiality and professionalism of the test procedure from pre-counseling, analysis and post-counseling handled by trained personnel. We use qualitative HIV antibody testing kits that are highly sensitive and accurate for better test performance and reliability.

Screening Drug Test

“Drug of abuse has no use”

In compliance with the Department of Health standards, R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center performs screening drug tests with the use of high sensitivity and high accuracy drug testing kits for accurate and reliable results. We perform qualitative testing of the most commonly used illegal drugs, which are Methamphetamine (shabu) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (marijuana). Confirmatory testing is available as a send-out procedure.

Pre-Employment

“Be healthy and be fit to work”

The overall health status of a person, especially those seeking new employment or those for re-employment, is very vital since it determines if a person is fit to work. R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center is known for having a one stop shop for pre-employment medical requirements. We have varied medical pre-employment packages that are suitable and feasible for any human resource or employer requirement. We offer basic to complete pre-employment medical services which include laboratory tests such as CBC, blood chemistry, blood typing, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, HIV, syphilis, pregnancy test in blood or urine sample, urinalysis and fecalysis. The qualitative screening test for drugs of abuse is also available. Chest x-ray of the heart and lungs for detection of any possible pulmonary abnormalities is also available. The physical examination conducted by our trained and licensed physician gives the final judgment on whether the employee is fit for employment.

Radiology and X-Ray

The newly acquired 200mA diagnostic x-ray machine of R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center allows us to perform all routine and special procedures in the radiology section. It provides a clearer view of the most common respiratory diseases like pulmonary tuberculosis, pneumonia, dextrocardia, pulmonary hyperaeration, detection of pulmonary nodules, enlargement of the heart, and retention and accumulation of fluid in the lungs. X-ray also helps in screening for the diagnosis of dextro-scoliosis of the thoracic spine, fracture and dislocation of bones of the human extremities. Special x-ray procedures are also available upon request.

It is beneficial for a company to save time, effort and money if the annual medical and physical examination is done on site. You can expect the same values and results as a regular testing facility, as we follow strict protocols and observe precautionary measures from the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stage of every procedure. Electrocardiogram

“Because your heart matters to us”

The basic and most common test to measure the electrical activity of the heart is the ECG. Our 12-lead ECG analyzer detects cardiac activity and abnormalities. The ten minute painless procedure is always available in our clinic and the result is interpreted by our internal medicine doctor. This procedure is also available on request during a mobile clinic service.
